Varian Embozene Microspheres
Varian Embozene Microspheres are precisely calibrated microspheres indicated for the Embolisation of:
- Hypervascular tumours
- Arteriovenous malformations
- Uterine fibroids
- Hepatocellular carcinoma
- Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
- Tumours of the head, neck, torso, and skeletal system
- Bleeding and trauma
- Pre-operative reduction of bleeding other than in the central nervous system
This device is not intended for neurovascular use.
Embozene Microspheres are available in ten uniform sizes and are uniquely colour coded by size to enhance visualisation.
- Embozene Microspheres are available in ten uniform sizes from 40μm to 1300μm
- Compressible and robust to facilitate smooth catheter delivery
- Highly biocompatible hydrogel microspheres coated with Polyzene®-F3-5
- Embozene Microspheres allow for a strong correlation between microsphere size and the diameter of vessel occlusion
- Uniquely colour-coded by size to enhance visualisation, aid in ease of use and reduce confusion when multiple sizes are being used during a procedure
